As-Sarf [Arabic Morphology]: As-Sarf is a classical Arabic sub-science with deals with the template and patterns of Arabic words formation and their meanings.
As-Sarf is essential because it affords the learner the ability to understand Arabic words configurations in order to aid in the effective usage of such words and to conveniently check for their meanings in Arabic Dictionaries, when the need arises.
Al-Imlaa’ [Dictation]: This is an essential part of classical Arabic learning. The intent is to ensure a perfect agreement between speaking and writing.
With constant practice of al-Imlaa’, the learners will be able to strike a balance between the abilities to speak and write correctly.
Al-Qira’aah [Reading]: This is essentially designed to widen the he learner’s scope of Arabic vocabularies and registers of words.
